Cheryl Cole admits she did the running in her relationship with new man Tre Holloway.
'It was me, it was all me,' Cheryl tells Alan Carr on his Channel 4 show.
'I had to do a little bit of the chasing. I cast a spell.'
Cheryl, 29, went public with her new romance last month and Tre, 27, doesn't want his girl to spoil him with expensive gifts - like a 25,000 Rolex watch similar to one she bought ex Ashley Cole.
'Tre believes that if he allows her to spend so much money on him it'll shift the power balance between them,' explains our source.
With an estimated net worth of 12 million, 25,000 certainly won't dent Cheryl's bank balance too much.
The singer loves to buy gifts but Cheryl's mum Joan Callaghan, 53, had reservations about the dancer when they got together.
Joan feared Tre could be using Cheryl for her money, which led to a row between mum and daughter.
At the time, a source said: 'Cheryl's tired of Joan inferring that someone with a regular job must be a gold-digger.'
