Although you can expect any number of reports denying it in the coming days, Cheryl Cole has apparently stormed out of an interview after a prank was taken the wrong way.
The singer was being interviewed by a reporter who constantly asked the question, Why are we here?, seeming to be asking Cole why he was interviewing her at a multi-artist concert.
Talking to The Mirror a source said, Cheryl was happy to chat to the BBC, but it was a bit odd when they started asking her, 'Why are we here?'
"She took it to mean, 'Why are we at this event?', so she said that she was here promoting her new single and performing."
Cheryl became angry when they continued asking the same question and she took it to mean something different.
They repeated, 'Why are we here?'. At that point, it seemed like a dig at her for not being worthy of being on the same bill as The Wanted and Jessie J.
"They repeated it again, this time saying, 'Why are we here on Earth?'. There was a slight pause, and then Cheryl walked off. It was obvious by then they were being daft."
The whole thing was set up as part of a new prank show, but it seems that some people just dont get the joke.
