Cheryl Cole put her all into her performance on The Voice

Cheryl Cole isn't bothered by speculation she was lip syncing through her recent appearance on The Voice.

The pop star - who put in an energetic, dance-heavy performance of Call My Name on the talent show last month - instead sees the rumours as something positive.

'If you think my live vocal sounds so good it must be mimed, I'm happy,' Cheryl, 28, tells the BBC.

'I take it as a compliment.'

Cheryl also graced the stage with Gary Barlow at this weekend's Diamond Jubilee concert - but she failed to impress.

She seemed a little uncomfortable and her voice wasn't strong.

'What a night.Its gonna have to be something special to beat that one.Amazing artists and performances.Incredible audience and atmosphere,' Tweeted Gary, 41.
