Cheryl Cole has no plans to work with Simon Cowell

Cheryl Cole is desperate to put her failed time on Simon Cowell's US X Factor behind her.

The Geordie singer, who was axed from the show after a matter of weeks last year, insists that 'in no point in the future' will she work with Simon, 52, again.

'I don't even think about Simon, he doesn't really come into my brain,' says Cheryl, 28.

Cheryl is too busy pursuing a string of other projects to worry about the music mogul.

Her new album A Million Lights is out next month, she's launched her own shoe collection for Stylistpick and was even reportedly wanted as a judge on American Idol.

'It doesn't matter where I go, what I'm doing, people want to talk about Simon,' Cheryl tells Radio 2's Steve Wright.

'It's kind of irritating.'
