Cheryl Cole Denies Walking Out Of Interview: 'Stop Telling Lies'

Cheryl Cole has hit back at a newspaper's claims she walked out of an interview with BBC3 because they asked her the same question repeatedly.

The Mirror reported that the Geordie star became increasingly frustrated when BBC interviewers kept asking her Why are we here before the singer stormed away.

It was thought the 28-year old took the question as a dig at her career.

A source said, Cheryl was happy to chat to the BBC, but it was a bit odd when they started asking her, Why are we here? She took it to mean, Why are we at this event? So she said that she was here promoting her new single and performing.

They repeated, Why are we here? At that point, it seemed like a dig at her for not being worthy of being on the same bill as The Wanted and Jessie J.

The 'Call My Name' singer took to Twitter to deny the accusations.

"@3am Fyi.. I have never walked out of an interview in my career. I had to be reminded of what your even referring to.. Stop telling lies lol," she wrote.
