Cheryl Cole is much smarter than idiot pranksters doing fake interviews

I wonder why the anonymous comedians who tried - and failed - to prank her think they are in any way superior Wise move: Cheryl swerved the BBC pranksters Cheryl Cole walked out of an interview when she was repeatedly asked the philosophical conundrum: Why are we here? That was an incredibly smart move because the interviewers were undercover comedy pranksters from BBC3 , more concerned with winding Cheryl up than unlocking the secrets of the universe. I wonder why these anonymous comedians think they are in any way superior to her. Do they imagine that their ambition is any less desperate than Cheryls? That their talent is any greater? That their contribution to culture will be any more significant? They look much more stupid than she does. Cheryl might not bring much originality to the world, but what is remotely ground-breaking about them? Spoof interviews were funny when Ali G did them, because the jokes were so elaborate, and played out so perfectly. But Sacha Baron Cohen is a c

Cheryl Cole: I thought I was going to die on a plane during terrifying storm

Cole was at Frankfurt airport in Germany recently when a huge storm hit just before the aircraft was about to take off. The bad weather was right over the grounded private jet and lightning struck the runway just a few metres from the plane. It left the singer needing her sick bag before the passengers made it into the air. She told The Sun newspaper: "We were stuck in the plane and just sitting on the runway and a bright massive flash of light hit outside the aircraft. I said to my friend, 'That's lightning' -- then it just didn't stop. "I was so scared that I thought, 'This is it. I've got an album to promote and I've got so much yet to do!'" She continued to explain that climbing a mountain helped her tackle her travelling fear that day. She added: "We had to stay put in the aircraft on the runway. They couldn't even take us back to the terminal. "When we finally took off about an hour later I was terrified we'd be hit

The singer was being interviewed by a reporter who constantly asked the question, Why are we here?, seeming to be asking Cole why he was interviewing her at a multi-artist concert. Talking to The Mirror a source said, Cheryl was happy to chat to the BBC, but it was a bit odd when they started asking her, 'Why are we here?' "She took it to mean, 'Why are we at this event?', so she said that she was here promoting her new single and performing." Cheryl became angry when they continued asking the same question and she took it to mean something different. They repeated, 'Why are we here?'. Its a question that has taxed the minds of some of the worlds greatest thinkers... Plato, Descartes and, er, Cheryl Cole . Well, with Cheryl it was more a case of taxing her patience. The Girls Aloud star took it less than philosophically when she was repeatedly asked the question by a BBC interview team and walked out. The singer, 28, agreed to chat to a BBC3 show backstage at an event, but got so fed up when she was repeatedly asked the philosophical question she left. And the Beeb team werent far behind as the organisers kicked them out of the event after a complaint from Cheryls people.
