Cheryl Cole steps out in leather harem pants and bomber jacket as she takes to the decks for DJ set

She's been part of a chart-topping girl band, enjoyed a successful solo career and sat on the judging panel of The X Factor.

And Cheryl Cole decided to add another string to her bow as she took to the decks to perform a DJ set on Thursday night.

As the 29-year-old singer emerged from London's The Rose Club in the early hours of the morning, it would initially seem she had just enjoyed another evening out with boyfriend Tre Holloway.

But the Geordie beauty had actually spent the night entertaining the revellers alongside her official DJ, Dubz Wiltshire.

And it would appear she had found a new talent to add to her CV.

The Rose Club's Twitter page said: '@CherylCole most definitely set the club on fire !! #HipHopThursdays.'

Cheryl left her usual girlie style at the door, taking on a sporty new look as she was seen making her way home with her dancer beau.

The Call My Name singer opted for a somewhat bizarre ensemble, featuring baggy leather harem pants which bunched rather unflatteringly around her thighs.

Cheryl teamed her trousers with a burgundy bomber jacket with silver sleeves, which she had daringly unzipped to reveal a hint of cleavage.

The star completed her look with a pair of silver pointed stiletto heels and her dark brunette locks flowing in loose waves around her shoulders.

Tre, 27, also seemed to have taken on his girlfriend's edgy new style, fashioning a leather jacket with a black printed T-shirt, jeans and bright orange trainers.

The dancer accessorised with an orange and black San Francisco Giants baseball cap.

Ever the gentleman, Tre led his leading lady out of the exclusive nightclub by her hand before the evidently smitten couple hopped into a car to make their way home.

Cheryl's urban look was a far cry from the festive style she has been favouring over the last few days.

Prior to heading to The Rose Club on Thursday night, the brunette beauty tweeted a photo of herself looking cosy in a woolly jumper while holding a lily in her hands.

Posting a photo on her Whosay.com account, Cheryl wrote: 'Me, my Christmas jumper and my Lily hahaha !!!! #5sleeps.'

She then teased her 3.2million Twitter followers, admitting she had been drinking mulled wine, adding: 'Haha I bet you all thought it was @Lily_England didn't you ??? I'm sooo funny !!! Hahaha #YouLittleMugs LOL at myself #TooMuchMulledWine.'

Earlier this week, the Girls Aloud star tweeted two other photos of her in her festive jumper collection.

On Sunday, she posed in a deer-print Stella McCartney jumper, and on Monday, a white jumper with 'ho! ho! ho!' written across it in red print.
