Cheryl Cole and Rihanna have been caught getting a little flirty with each other on Twitter.

With Riri complaining that she doesn't want to be single and Cheryl currently without a man, the girls have been enjoying sending flirty messages to each other.

Having been asked in an interview whether she "perves" over Cheryl and Adele, Rihanna, who may have reportedly dumped Chris Brown after she was spotted visiting Beyonce and Jay Z's daughter Blue Ivy, told her followers on the micro-blogging site:

"Had an interview for Esquire UK lastnight! They always get me pervin' on @CherylCole and Adele #girlcrush. (sic)"

Responding to the 'Rude Boy' hit maker's tweet, Cheryl tweeted back:

"No problem.. @rihanna I'm always pervin on you anyway.. Minus interviewer.. Lmao #girlcrush #pervin4thefunofit.(sic)"

Cheryl has made no secret of her love for Rihanna after she gushed about how amazing Rihanna's tour in London was.

She tweeted last year: "Just left last #Loud concert. Amazing!! To put on 98 of the same shows like that and give your all takes something special.

"Congratulations on completing your tour @rihanna Have an amazing Christmas, well de! served b reak and another amazing year! #illdrinktothat X."
