Cheryl Cole taking boyfriend Tre Holloway to see her old hang-outs on Newcastle council estate

Cheryl Cole is getting serious with Tre Holloway

Cheryl Cole is planning a visit to her home city of Newcastle next weekend to show her new man Tre Holloway around the area she grew up.

The singer is hoping to take American dancer Tre, 27, on a night out with her friends as well as show him the council estate she lived on during her teen years.

'Cheryl and Tre are getting really serious now. She wants him to see where she went to school and the places she used to hang about,' a source tells The Sun.

'She's planned a no-frills few days to give Tre an idea of what it was like when she was young.'

Cheryl, 29, and Tre will return to Newcastle in October when her first solo tour ends in the city - and next year the Girls Aloud reunion will kick off there.

Cheryl's band mates Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh have already met Tre, with Kimberley liking him so much that she's even introduced him to her long-term boyfriend Justin Scott.

'Nicola and Kimberley have been so happy for Cheryl since she fell for Tre,' a source tells the Daily Star.

'As soon as the girls met Tre they told Cheryl he was the perfect man for her and gave their seal of approval.'
