Cheryl Cole jokingly blames 'motormouth' Will.i.am for Los Angeles car crash

London, September 1 (ANI): Cheryl Cole has jokingly blamed Will.i.am's lack of concentration for their recent car accident in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old singer had arrived in London for a day of interviews with her arm in sling following her recent car accident.

The 'Promise Me' hitmaker wasted no time hitting the promotional trail for new single 'Under The Sun,' and took the opportunity to shed some light on the accident which left her bloodied and bruised in alongside manager and friend will.i.am.

Clearly over the shock of the fender bender, the 29-year-old, who was married to Chelsea ace Ashley Cole, joked that The Black Eyed Peas star wasn't concentrating on his driving as he was too busy chatting away to her, the Daily Mail reported.

When asked by Capital Breakfast co-presenter Lisa Snowdon if the 37-year-old singer was a bad driver, Cole replied: "That bad a talker, I would say. He was talking the face off us... He was talking about Nasa and Mars and his song."

The American songwriter had driven into a parked car while they were out for a takeaway at McDonald's.

Cole told Capital's Dave Berry that she actually only has to wear the sling for three days.

"You know what, I think it's actually hurting more to have it in the sling than it does when it's not in there.

"I was just told to wear it for three days. I'm following doctor's orders," she said.

The crash occurred after Cole and Will.i.am left a recording studio. (ANI)
