Cheryl Cole - Cheryl Cole To Release 'screw You': But Is It About Simon Cowell?

Cheryl Cole has confirmed that the next single from her recent solo album 'A Million Lights' will be 'Screw You'. The track features a guest verse from UK rapper Wretch 32, who Cole was rumoured to have been dating early this year.

When the track-listing for Cole's new single was released in March, it naturally led many to assume that 'Screw You' was aimed at the singer's former X Factor boss Simon Cowell. The reality star was still fresh from being sensationally axed from the U.S. version of the reality singing contest, and Cheryl often hinted at her dismay. She's yet to explain the meaning behind the title, though with her relationship with Cowell now thought to be repaired, it's likely that she might spill the beans soon. After announcing the single details, the singer also launched a competition for fans to submit their own photographs - one of which will be used in an official Cheryl Cole Screw You Lyrics video. Fans have been asked to create a visual for any word in the track and upload to their Instagram accounts. The best snap will make the cut and shall be included in the promo.

It's set to be a busy period for Cole in the coming months, and she is set to embark on her first solo headline tour later this year, beginning in Belfast on October 2, 2012.
