Cheryl Cole Says Will.i.am 'In Space' During Crash

Cheryl Cole has blamed Will.i.am's motor mouth for the car crash in Los Angeles that left them bloody and bruised.

She revealed the Black Eyed Peas star was chatting about becoming the first person to debut a record on Mars.

The Grammy-winning US artist's song, titled Reach For The Stars, was played through speakers on Nasa's 1.6bn Curiosity robot rover which landed on the surface of the Red Planet earlier this month.

When asked if Will.i.am was a bad driver, Cole replied: "He's that bad a talker, I would say. He was talking the face off us."

Referring to the first song broadcast from another planet, she continued: "He was talking about Nasa and Mars and his song."

Cole was in the front passenger seat of Will.i.am's Cadillac which hit a parked car on Wednesday as they were going out for a takeaway.

The 29-year-old said she was "absolutely fine", but "exhausted" after returning to London, with her left arm in a sling, to plug her new single Under The Sun.

"It's actually hurting more to have it in the sling. I'm following doctor's orders ... I am absolutely fine," said the Girls Aloud star.

Cole told Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton that the thought of performing new solo shows was "daunting" but there was a chance Will.i.am would join her for some performances.

She also said she was looking forward to the Girls Aloud reunion to mark a decade in the music business.

She continued: "Sometimes when I see old pictures and stuff it feels like 10 years but in general it feels like yesterday."

Cole said they had already met up to discuss the plans and described the meeting as "really exciting and quite emotional as well".
