In some cases, it'd be needless - Zayn Malik, for example, is the least-followed member of One Direction, but with 8.4 million he still has more followers than any other contemporary pop group.

The gap is huge in some bands. In Girls Aloud, for example, Cheryl Cole has 3.6 million whilst Sarah Harding has only 90k, although her account is still relatively new.
