Cheryl Cole scrubs up well in her steamiest photoshoot yet.

The Geordie beauty slipped into a bathtub and posed for LOreal Paris surrounded by rose petals.

The watery shoot was part of the cosmetics giants new Glam Shine Stain Splash campaign. Cheryl, 29, stripped off for top fashion snapper Rankin.

In one pic, the pop babe can be seen having a soak wearing nothing but a tiny white bodice. And the results are simply splashing.

And you might have to make the most of these pics as they could be the last we see for a while. Following the announcement that Girls Aloud are no more, Cheryl is apparently taking an extended break from showbusiness.

The Call My Name star apparently plans to take a sabbatical and it could last up to six months. Sadface.

A source told The Mirror: She feels now that she needs a break and an opportunity to recharge her batteries as shes barely had any time off. From the ! moment she released Call My Name in May 2012 she was thrown back into promotional duties and toured second album A Million Lights around the UK and Ireland in October.

Then after a three-year hiatus Cheryl rejoined Girls Aloud in November. They released new material and a Greatest Hits album before embarking on their Ten: The Hits Tour in February.

Now the tour has finished Cheryls planning to take time out and disappear from the limelight. Shes in no rush to record a new album and has ruled out rejoining the X Factor panel.

Instead shes going to go to America and spend time in LA with boyfriend Tre Holloway. She may even plan to do some travelling with him and spend time seeing the world. Shes turning 30 in June and is becoming a woman. She wants to decide what path she wants to take in life.

Cheryl hinted at her plans by tweeting: Im gonna take some time now to rest and recover!! I need some doggy love, family, friends & loved ones!

Don't be a stranger, Chezza. In the meantime, let's take a look at some of Girls Aloud's best bits (and Ashley Cole) in their family album:
