Cheryl Cole To Join Simon Cowell On New Talent Show

After falling out spectacularly last year over Cheryls axing from X Factor USA it seems Simon Cowell and the Girls Aloud star have finally made up and are even planning to work on a new talent show together.

The pair were notoriously close while appearing on The X Factor together so much so that Cowell insisted on taking the 28 year-old with him when he launched it Stateside. But the blossoming friendship soon came to a sticky end after Cowell axed his friend from the judging panel after only a few shows.

All is forgiven now though as Simon has asked Cheryl to help him launch a new reality tv show.

A source told The Daily Mail: Cheryl's finally stepped back into the fold. All's well between them again. Despite what happened last year, she's agreed to do something with Simon.

Though details of the show have not yet been finalised it is believed to be yet another search for a star from the music moguls Syco production company and will begin this autumn.

Until Simon returns from his break in the Caribbean, he and Cheryl can't fine-tune any plans, but he's set aside time next month to do so. The main thing is he's convinced Cheryl is immensely valuable. A source revealed.

The 52 year-old is desperate to get Cheryl on the project as he knows how popular she is and hopes it will also smooth over their past problems.

"The audience warms to her, and that's worth money to Simon. Now that Cheryl's stopped ignoring him, he'll bend over backwards when they meet. She'll very much be part of the decision-making process."

Cheryl was not so forgiving earlier in the year when she turned down a judging role on Britains Got Talent following her X Factor USA exit! . Alesha Dixon has now been announced as the newest addition to the judging panel.
