Geordie star, Cheryl Cole is waving goodbye to everything associated with her ex husband, Ashley Cole - and is even removing her infamous 'Mrs C' tattoo.

The Girls Aloud singer was reportedly hoping to rekindle her relationship with Ashley - but a source has claimed the 28-year-old has made a New Year's resolution to remove the ink on her neck.

According to the Daily Star, the Fight For This Love singer is "certain" that the tattoo has to go and is currently deciding between laser removal or having the ink redesigned.

A source revealed: "There's no chance of her getting back with Ashley and she no longer wants the reminder of his cheating ways on her skin.

"She's been looking at ideas and now just needs to decide whether to get it removed or reworked."

Cheryl did surprise fans after deciding not to change back to her maiden name of Tweedy, as she fears it could damage her brand - but it looks like she now wants to remove the last trace of the footballer.
