Cheryl Cole is reportedly hoping to rekindle her romance with ex-hubby Ashley Cole again.

According to Closer magazine, Chezza is said to be asking him to 'prove I can trust you again' after the Chelsea footballer allegedly cheated on her four times throughout their four year marriage.

The pair are now thought to be in regular contact, with a source telling the publication: "They're talking or texting every day. She usually texts him first thing in the morning and they'll normally call each other during the day.

"She saw him just before Christmas and they're making plans for a weekend break together in February."

The Girls Aloud star is also thought to be determined to keep their rumoured reconciliation a secret, after she has been let down by Cole in the past.

Cheryl apparently reunited with Ashley last year, inviting him to her 28th birthday party at The Sanderson Hotel, where the couple were seen 'cosying up' to each other.

Despite appearing to have forgiven Cole, Chezza reportedly called off their reconciliation after a number of girls claimed to have slept with Ashley when he was trying to win her back.

After her sacking from The X Factor USA, Closer magazine's source has stated that Cheryl felt 'vulnerable', turning to Ashley for comfort.

The insider revealed: "She let Ashley get close to her again - she's always said he's the only one who 'understands' her."

The publication also claims that Cheryl is imposing a sex ban on Ashley so he can prove his loyalty to her, with the source adding: "She's told Ashley he must survive six months, until her birthday on June 30, without dating or bedding other girls if she's ever to trust him again."

Last week, Cheryl's mother Joan Callaghan apparently begged her daughter to try and move on from Ashley, with a mole telling Now magazine: "She told Cheryl that she'll be single and childless for ever unless she breaks off contact with him."
