"They know she'll be a massive ratings winner and is the perfect fit to pull in amazing guests," an insider told Star Magazine. "There have been a few film roles and scripts sent to her from Hollywood that are being considered."

Cole was rumoured to have been offered a chatshow on ITV following her departure from The X Factor this summer, though further details have failed to materialise.

Reports that she was working on a fashion programme for Channel 4 were denied in October.

Cole has recently been in America working on her third studio album with the likes of will.i.am, Taio Cruz and Alex Da Kid.

The forthcoming LP is expected to feature appearances from artists including Usher, Rihanna and Eminem.
