Cheryl Cole Throws Out Ex-Husband Ashley's Belongings In Bid To Move On
Cheryl Cole has decided that a new year means a new start, and that means throwing out the belongings of her ex-husband Ashley in a bid to move on from their failed marriage.
The 'Promise This' singer had been hanging on to some of the Chelsea footballer's items in the hopes that they would get back together in the future. However, after their failed attempt at reconciling last year, Cheryl has opted to move on completely.
"Cheryl called Ashley to say she wanted to cut off contact and move on," a source told the Daily Star.
"She then had a huge clearout, binning everything associated with him, including presents he gave her, the perfume he liked her to wear and expensive lingerie she saved for romantic nights with him."
They added: "She went through every drawer and cupboard and even decided the time was right to get rid of photos of them that she'd vowed to never throw away."
It was reported earlier this week, that Ashley fled a London nightclub after almost coming face-to-face with will.i.am, whom Cheryl is best friends with.
