Cheryl Cole rumoured to host TV chat show to rival Oprah Winfrey

Cheryl Cole may be making waves with her music and writing efforts but shes also set to heat things up on the small screen as shes rumoured to return to the box as the star of her very own TV chat show.

Fresh from the success of her recent solo tour and latest autobiography, rumours have surfaced that a TV job is in the pipeline.

The Daily Star report Cheryl has been offered a lucrative contract to make a triumphant return to our screens with a chat show on Sky1. Channel chiefs are believed to have high hopes for the programme and would like to see Cheryl emulate the success of Oprah Winfreys empire.

A source told the newspaper: Sky1 are desperate to get Cheryl to sign up. Theyve been in talks for a while and believe they will have wrapped up the deal within the next month.

Its hoped the show will take a more emotional and confessional approach and Cheryl will be tasked with getting juicy revelations from guests.

On the X Factor UK, Cheryl won the title of being the nations sweetheart thanks to her compassion and support for contestants. No doubt shell do the same if her first TV show comes about.
