Cheryl Cole joins Jingle Bell Ball

Cheryl Cole is the final act for the opening day of the Jingle Bell Ball, it has been announced.

The A Million Lights singer and former X Factor judge, who has reunited with her Girls Aloud bandmates, has joined the star-studded line-up, which includes One Direction, Bruno Mars and JLS.

Lawson, Little Mix, The Script and Rizzle Kicks will also kick off day one of the event, which will take place at London's O2 Arena on December 8 and 9.

Performers for the second day will be revealed at a later date.

Ashley Tabor, Global's founder and executive president said: "The line up for this year's Jingle Bell Ball is superb. We'll be kicking off the festive season with an incredible show yet again!"

Now in its fifth year, the Jingle Bell Ball supports Capital FM's flagship charity, Help A Capital Child.
