Cheryl Cole has allegedly been spotted with old flame Derek Hough in Los Angeles.

According to reports, the Girls Aloud star attended a Coldplay gig with the dancer and her PA Lily England last night (9th February), proving that they are still very much in contact.

Speaking of Chezza and Dezza's rumoured hook-up, a mole told the Daily Star: "They were really slushy. He stood with his arms round her waist as they mouthed the words to each other for Fix You.

Despite these allegations, Lily's Twitter told a very different story as she tweeted a snap of herself with the former X Factor judge - with the picture showing no sign of the Dancing With The Stars ace.

England accompanied the image with the post: "Me and @CherylCole at Coldplay #quitepossiblythebestnightEVER,"

Cheryl also failed to mention Derek in her tweet about the gig, but had more than words of praise for Chris Martin and Co, writing: "S*********t !! Just watched Coldplay at the Nokia club ! They're on FIRE ! .. #legends."

The Fight For This Love singer confirmed yesterday (9th February) that she has launched legal action against Now magazine after their article with MC Harvey about his supposed 'secret relationship' with Chezza.

Despite the So Solid Crew rapper backtracking his comments about Cole, representatives for the Geordie issued a statement confirming that Cheryl has started proceedings against the publishers of Now.

They said: "Cheryl Cole has today commenced legal proceedings in London against the publishers of Now magazine as a result of its two articles about her alleged "secret romance" with Michael Harvey.

"Cheryl's lawyers have asked to see Mr Harvey's alleged e-mails which the magazine says are "proof" of the "romance" but it claims not to have them in its possession."

The statement concluded: "Mr Harvey's claims are denied by Cheryl and she looks forward to seeing both him and the magazine in Court at the very earliest opportunity."
