Cheryl Cole Misses Kimberley Walsh's Birthday

Sick Cheryl Cole missed her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh's 30th birthday last night (20th November), after being struck with a sore throat.

The gorgeous Geordie, who had to pull out of Children In Need Rocks Manchester last week following news that she was suffering from pharyngitis, was forced to comment on Walsh's b'day night out on Twitter instead.

After seeing a snap of Kimberley and fellow GA member Nicola Roberts, Chezza tweeted: "Looks like a good night, Happy Birthday Kimba, more beautiful and special than ever, love you sooooooo much."

Roberts was the only Girls Aloud star who hit The Westbury Hotel in Mayfair for Walsh's 30th, as Sarah Harding is thought to be recovering after a stint in rehab and Nadine Coyle is now based in America.

Cheryl was said to be "gutted" after having to cancel her appearance for Children In Ne! ed, with gig organiser Gary Barlow - who Chezza was supposed to duet with on the night - telling OK! magazine: "Cheryl was distraught. She saw this as her big comeback."

He added: "I decided I didn't want to replace her because it was going to be such a nice moment for her tonight."

Cheryl will hopefully make her return to music in 2012, with reports suggesting we can expect some new material from her in the Spring.
