When she took on the role of Princess Fiona last September her best friends Girls Aloud band mates Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts were on hand to cheer her on from the audience.

And tonight as she performed in the musical for the final time Kimberley Walsh was joined by three of her old band mates, with Sarah Harding also turning up for the reunion.

Sarah and Nicola posed up for snaps with the 30-year-old star before she took to the stage.

But Cheryl, who had been wowed crowds in Cannes last night with her dramatic entrance on the red carpet, arrived during the interval.

Nevertheless Kimberley seemed overwhelmed by the support of her bandmates and was beaming as she posed for snaps.

As usual Nadine Coyle failed to make an appearance but perhaps she is preparing for her upcoming stint inside the Big Brother house.

Sarah attended the performance in a yellow dress covered in black polka dots while Nicole opted for a bright blue off-the-shoulder dress which she teamed with a cropped denim waistcoat.

It seems that following the performance Kimberley is expecting to celebrate her role and she tweeted an events party earlier today to make sure everything would be ready.

She posted: '@LoveEnt hope all the party prep is going well for this eve! #partytime.'

Kimbereley also made time to pose up with former Hollyoaks actress Carly Stenson who will take on the role as Princess Fiona from now on.
