OH dear, it doesn't sound like this little rift is quite over yet...

Cheryl Cole has hit back at Cher Lloyd again following those comments Cher made in February about Cheryl using auto tune.

Despite initially taking to Twitter to respond, Cheryl now admits that the 18 year old's quips about not wanting to duet with her if she 'doesn't sing live' were a "slap in the face".

She told GQ: "She's new. She needs to learn a lot. I went through hell to get her on that programme. Everyone says stuff at the beginning of their career that they will learn to regret."

And while Cheryl says the comments are "disappointing" to hear, she reckons Cher probably wasn't as into her X Factor mentoring as she had initially thought.

She added: "Maybe I didn't teach her as well as I thought I had."

Cheryl initially responded to Cher on Twitter, tweeting: "Be careful who you kick on your way up. They kick you twice as hard on your way back down.. #unappreciationisugly."
