Cheryl Cole's mother worried over rumoured new boyfriend Tre Holloway?

Cheryl Cole's mother has reportedly voiced her concerns over her daughter's new boyfriend.

The singer is said to be dating backing dancer Tre Holloway, after first meeting on the set of The X Factor in 2010.

Her mother Joan has allegedly stated that she does not believe Holloway will stay around for a long period, according to The Sun.

"It's early days and she isn't 100% sure of Tre yet," an insider told the paper. "He looks good on Cheryl's arm, but Joan fears he will not be there for her long term.

"Any man dating Cheryl should be aware they have to pass the vigorous test and standards set by Joan. She sees herself as more of a protecting force than ever.

"As it stands, Tre has a long way to go before he is accepted."

Holloway's mother recently spoke of her own concerns that Cole will end up hurting her son.
