'Talentless' Cheryl Cole bombarded with abuse during an online interview

London, Apr. 16 (ANI): Cheryl Cole was left stunned when she was deluged with abuse, after her online interview was hijacked by haters.

ITV's 'Daybreak' triggered the attacks when it asked its viewers to tweet questions to the 'Girls Aloud' singer.

But show bosses were left embarrassed when Twitter was deluged with jokes and abusive comments about Cole.

Hundreds of Twitter users mocked her, claiming that she was "talentless," the Daily Star reported.

Andy Parsons tweeted, "What's your view on hugely untalented artists making millions from the entertainment industry just because they scrub up nice?"

A Rapper wrote on Twitter, "How does it feel to be pretty enough that you don't actually need any musical talent or singing ability to be a success?"

Some people even asked X-rated questions about her sex life with former husband Ashley Cole, 32, while others quizzed her on her assault conviction in 2003.

FanDANgo tweeted, "What was it like throwing a punch at someone...who was just doing their job?" (ANI)
