She tweeted: "@kimberleyjwalsh !!! Marry me???."

Soon after the message was sent, the phrase #ChimWedding started to trend, much to the delight of fans.
One wrote: "Kimba if you don't say yes I'll happily marry cheryl instead..."
Kimberley replied, telling her BFF she had been overwhelmed by the response her question had got.
