Cheryl Cole has praised Rihanna's music video for her new single 'Stay', which premiered this week, admitting she felt emotional after watching the clip and revealing she can relate to the lyrics.

The simple yet effective video, which sees Rihanna stripping off to sit in a bathtub for the duration of the clip as the ballad plays out against the visuals, was released on Tuesday following her heartfelt performance at the Grammy Awards where she was joined on stage by her collaborator Mikky Ekko.

The video caught the attention of 'Call My Name' singer Cheryl Cole, who revealed she became overwhelmed with emotions when watching Rihanna bare her soul and literally everything else in the visuals.
