Cheryl Cole has slammed the Daily Mail for saying in an online story that she was boring on Twitter.

The Girls Aloud beauty, who has almost 800,000 followers after joining the social-networking site in July, hit back at the tabloid after they posed the question: "Is Cheryl Cole the least interesting celebrity on Twitter?"

In the article, the Mail referenced the title of Chezza's first solo album, giving her '3 Words' of advice, by telling the Geordie: "Learn to tweet!"

They also deemed her replying to fans "cheesy" and said that her posts are "enough to send followers to sleep."

Not taking the criticism lightly, Cole's management team Supersonic PR tweeted: "If @MailOnline think @CherylCole is boring on twitter why do they always run a story each time she tweets?!"

The 28-year old then replied: "I wouldn't mind but what an ill informed load of crap it is SMH.. 3 words.. Don't follow me *eggs* haha (sic)."

Earlier this week, Cheryl was snapped by her PA Lily England listening to her new music at airport - who ironically posted the picture on Twitter.
