Cheryl Cole looks to have finally ended her long running feud with Lily Allen by complimenting her baby bump.

The singer offered the olive branch to Lily in response to her tweeting a Halloween picture of herself over the weekend.

The snap was posted with the caption: "Me, bump and pumpkin, i did it last night during x-factor. (sic)"

Cheryl responded: "@MrsLRCooper looks ridiculously cute with her baby bump.. Aahhh.."

The pair have been at war for three years after Cheryl described Lily as a "chick with a d**k" on Gordon R! amseys F Word in 2007, in response to Lily calling Cheryl's Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts "the ugly one".

Lily hit back saying: "Cheryl, if you're reading this, I may not be as pretty as you, but at least I write and sing my own songs without the aid of Auto-Tune. I must say, taking your clothes off, doing sexy dancing and marrying a rich footballer must be very gratifying, your mother must be so proud, stupid bitch."Further insults were exchanged between the singers before it looked as though there was set to be a truce in January 2010.

Cheryl explained: "I met Lily for the first time last week. I gave her a hug and said, 'Nice to meet you.' To which she said: 'There is no beef.'"

However, the truce was short lived with Cheryl adding: "Then I hear she was in the Press room taking the p*** and I thought: 'She's a little girl but I'm a 26-year-old woman and I'm not at school any more.'"As well as Lily, Cheryl also had a well publicised slagging match with Charlotte Church who proved that while she might have the Voice of an Angel she has a mouth like a dustbin after describing Girls Aloud as "five dogs with balls.

Cheryl blasted back calling her a nasty piece of work with a fat head and later said that it was "very appropriate" that she was appearing in a Walkers Crisps advert "stuffing her face".
