Cheryl Cole asked Nicola Roberts to write track
Nicola Roberts was too busy to help Cheryl Cole with her new album.
The 'Call My Name' singer - who is currently promoting her album 'A Million Lights' - admitted that her Girls Aloud bandmate chose to focus on her Dainty Doll makeup line instead.
Cheryl revealed that when she asked the 26-year-old fashion and beauty businesswoman to pen a track, she politely refused.
She told the Mirror: 'I was trying to get her to write one but she didn't have time.'
The 28-year-old joked about Nicola: 'Cheers for that, too busy creating lipstick colours!'
Cheryl also revealed that 'Screw You', a track on her forthcoming LP, was written for her because she turned up to the studio still drunk after a night out.
She said although that kind of behavior is out of character for her, the amount of alcohol she had consumed meant she had to turn up to work intoxicated.
She added: 'I went in to record it hung over. I never do that. I'm not a big drinker but I was still drunk when I woke up.'
