Cheryl Cole 'aborted interview' to air on BBC Three - video

The BBC has confirmed that it will broadcast the interview that Cheryl Cole was alleged to have walked out of.

The 'Call My Name' singer vehemently denied reports in the press that she left a "daft" Q&A with a BBC Team at Capital FM's Summertime Ball last month.

"Fyi.. I have never walked out of an interview in my career," she wrote at the time. "I had to be reminded of what your even referring to.. Stop telling lies lol."

However, the BBC has now released a trailer for satirical series The Revolution Will Be Televised, which includes footage of prankster Jolyon Rubinstein interviewing Cole under the guise of BBCOMGWTF reporter Zam Zmith.

In the clip, Cole is seen looking bemused after being repeatedly asked: "Why are we here," as was reported, but there is no evidence yet that she stormed out.

Usher, Dizzee Rascal, The Wanted, Conor Maynard and Lawson are also shown being asked left-field questions by Rubinstein, including, "What is the meaning of life?", "What happens when we die?" and, "What would you do about the current crisis of austerity?"

The Revolution Will Be Televised is set to air on BBC Three next month.
