Cheryl Cole hooked on murder mysteries

The singer has become hooked on documentaries about America's most violent murders.

She has been watching back-to-back episodes of US TV series The First 48, which follows the first two days of real-life murder probes in the States as detectives scramble to gather evidence.

Recent episodes include a serial killer who butchered six members of his family, the killing of a wheelchair-bound woman and a victim who was burned alive.

Her Sky+ would have most fellas running out the door.
