Robert Pattinson: 'I want Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell back on X Factor'

Robert Pattinson has revealed that he is a fan of The X Factor and wants Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell to return to the show.

The Twilight actor told the Daily Mail that he believes the show "hasn't been the same" since the pair's departures following the 2010 series.

"I would like to see Cheryl back on the UK X Factor. It is never going to be the same now Simon is not there anymore - but having Cheryl back would be good for the show," Pattinson claimed.

"It hasn't been the same since the two of them left - and if there is a chance to get her back Simon should. In fact Simon should do both shows."

He continued to say that he cannot see a reason why Cowell could not commit to both the UK and US versions of the show.

He said: "The US show is midweek and the UK at weekends - come on Simon you have enough money to charter your own plane."

Cowell has supposedly ruled out a return to the UK series. He reportedly shook his head at last month's Britain's Got Talent auditions when asked whether he will be returning to the show for the 2013 series.

Cole has been rumoured to be returning to the panel, while other articles have suggested that Sharon Osbourne is being lined up to make a comeback. She was photographed enjoying an evening with Cowell and Louis Walsh in London last week.
