London, Mar 15 : Cheryl Cole has denied reports that she is set to join BBC's 'The Voice', insisting that she is concentrating on her music career.
The former wife of Chelsea star Ashley Cole has said that television is not on her radar right now, as she is hard at work on her new album.
A spokesperson for the 28-year-old singer said that "there is no truth" to claims that Cole will be appearing on 'The Voice'.
A BBC insider apparently told the Daily Star: "We'd welcome her to appear as a guest mentor or a singer."
Referring to her manager will.i.am, the source added: "will is a very charismatic man and can be very persuasive, so undoubtedly he is going to pull some strings."
However despite starring as a mentor on the BBC programme himself, the Black Eyed Peas frontman had previously questioned why Cole would waste her time "making someone else rich" when she is a big enough star to drive her own show.
Talk of a Cheryl Cole chat show, alleged to earn her 750,000 pounds are also off the mark, as she has been focusing entirely on new music material and her StylistPick shoe collection.
But as the singer will have an album to promote soon, fans of the diminutive Newcastle born star will be holding out hope of a guest appearance on the show once she hits the promotional trail.
According to the Daily Star, Cole planned on making a cameo on 'The Voice' to annoy Simon Cowell, who had previously said he'd welcome back Cheryl to the UK 'X Factor', the Daily Mail reported.
The Voice is also scheduled to clash with 'Britain's Got Talent', which Cowell has returned to star in himself. (ANI)
